I decided to do a short trip before Ramadan (because I’m saving my leave for a major trip *hopefully jadi*). Every year I will do my pre or post Ramadan trip! And as usual for pre/post Ramadan trip, it always a drama & challenging trip (e.g. Chiang Mai, Siem Reap), haha but very worth experience & rewarding :’)
Day 1 (28/4/16) Thursday
- Arrive 3 pm at Perth International Airport
- Wrongly took shuttle bus to Domestic Airport *lol
- Took bus to the city’s train station
- Took train to Freemantle
- Check in Pirates backpackers
- Inception movie night, haha layan
Day 2 (29/4/16) Friday
- Walk to B-Shed to catch Rottnest Island tix (by the time I reach, I just miss the ferry! can u believe it!)
- Decided to take it slow & have Vanilla cream & coffee breakfast & tapau my lunch (Vegetarian curry with rice, yum!)
- 12.30 pm Ferry to Rottnest Island
- 1 pm reach Rottnest Island
- 20km solo bicycle ride along Rottnest
- 5 pm ferry ride back to Freemantle *I did Rottness Island trip within 5 hours :'D
- Looong groceries shopping at Coles =D
- Cook salmon soup dinner yummayh
Day 3 (30/4/16) Saturday
- Cook breakfast
- Leave Freemantle, heads to Leederville ; have to let go the idea of sightseeing Freemantle because need to catch up with my CS’s schedule, to pick her house key before she leave at 12 noon
- Kat Leederville station ni lah peristiwa dimana aku sesat dan berjalan kaki berkilo-kilo dengan bag seberat 8kg (kot, nyesal shopping groceries bebanyak semalam, haha)
- Reach my CS host’s place before 12, phew explorace sangat~; and meet Olcay
- Walk to King’s Park
- Meet another CS friend; Rahman
- We thought want to check out tourist information to booked our Pinnacles trip, it was closed! Closed at 4 & it was 4.10 pm, seriously??
- So we just hang out & do bushwalking at the Kings Park
- Walk back to my CS place & dinner
- Olcay bring me to see Oxford Street at night :D
Day 4 (1/5/16) Sunday
- 9.30 am run to Budget Car rental place, by the time reach 10.15 am it was closed! (operation hour on Sun: 7.45am-10am, seriously??)
- Walk to another car rental place 1 km away & I could not find it!
- Walk back 1 km “again” to another car rental place, Hertz, my last resort bcoz very expensive, but since the only place that still open on Sunday; car rental per 24 hours 100 AUD + gps for 15 AUD, surprisingly it’s a Swift =D
- Wait for Rahman until it’s 3 pm, I give up ;(
- Start driving (while crying, lol) to the Pinnacles (Cerventes), not sure if I could make it before dark, by 5 pm normally it’s already dark, it takes 2 hours & a half to reach normally
- Stop by at McDonalds’ on the way, buy fillet o fish (my 1st meal of the day! too hungry!) & replacing a big cup of coffee was a smart choice, Nash!
- Enjoying the amazing roadtrip view~ I saw wild kangaroos, aha!
- Pass by Lancelin, wanted to stop by, but I can’t coz I need to catch up the time
- By the time I reach Pinnacles, It was already dark, with only using my car’s spotlight, the place looks like a graveyard at night T_T
- Drove back to Perth city
- Olcay prepare dinner for me! :’))
Day 5 (2/5/16) Monday
- Drove to Monger Lake to see the iconic Black Swan =D
- Drove to Cottesloe Beach
- Return my car at Hertz
- Quick coffee sesh with Diana & the gang at William Street, finally!:D
- Last & quick groceris grab at Coles
- Quick stroll at Target (I should have done this at Freemantle on my 2nd nite :()
- Went to the Outlet store for a quick shopping
- Walk back to my CS’ place
- Went to Oxford street for a CS meet up (organize by Kenneth) & coffee & cake :D
- Took the train to catch the last bus to the airport
Day 6 (3/5/16) Tuesday
- Sleep at Perth airport
- Repack my bagpack (nasib tak timbang, tapi oz normally tak cerewet macam Jepun, asal 1 bag dia kasi lepas je)
- Morning coffee
- Flight at 6.30 am, going back home~
Phew~! That was a marathon isn’t it? But what a journey & experience!
A bit challenging when meet up with friends, because me (especially) & friends only rely on wi-fi, so If anybody want to plan something, please inform me the percise timing, sebab jasad aku ni ade 1 jer, jangan lah berkecik hati kalau tak jadi according to plan T_T, and of course I always make time for everyoneee~ I repeat everyoneee :D

My favourite was when I was in Rottnest Island, eventhough it was expensive for the ferry & the bicycle, but totally worth it! A very relaxing & fun solo bicycle ride, I’m glad I did that, eventhough at first I was reluctant to spend for the expensive ferry ride ‘:D

This time, I really simply splurge on good cake & pastries, because I regret not doing so when I was in Sydney. I fulfilled my sugar craving in Perth, tehehe~! & I did a loOots of Coles shopping too, hew hew.

The next time I go, I wanted to do a longer roadtrip drive, the desert & Indian Ocean
view was ahmazing~!
